                    ----Outland Station----

Teamplay map.. Defend a deep desert outpost and landing pad.
The best play on this map is between teams of two vs. two,
three vs. three, two vs. three.

Size: 21 x 21
Ram required: 64 Megs (32 will work but I wouldn't play with more then 200 units)
Number of players: Team based map, 2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10 Players
Uncompressed size: 9,898kb
Compressed size: 3.67mb

   What this map features;

1. This map is not balanced!! In the north lies the fortified
outpost, leading away heading south is a two lane, each direction,
divided desert highway. (No, the only bonus to movement the
highway provides is that it is the only totally clear and level
north-south route on the map.)

2. The majority of the desert is dotted with uneven terrain and
broken ground. These patches of uneven ground act to slow and
break up land rushes.

3. When the positions are fixed during game creation then the
teamplay aspect of the map comes into play..

Player start positions are as follows::

Player 1) Lower middle
Player 2) Upper middle
Player 3) Lower right
Player 4) Upper right
Player 5) Lower left
Player 6) Upper left
Player 7) Middle right
Player 8) Middel left
Player 9) Far lower left on top of Temple
Player 10) Middle of map

4. There are ten metal deposits in both the upper and lower
halves of the map, as well as a few thermals. The ground itself
yields little or no metal for the level one (surface mine) but
the level 2 moho's can reach a thin layer of deeper metal below
the entire map, this will give about 3.2 metal per moho anywhere
!! :)

5. The map is large enough that the bertha is not in command of
the map..

6. Improved minimap appearance.

Installation:
1) Make a subdirectory: \maps. For example, if Total Annihilation is in
                        C:\cavedog\totala, then make a subdirectory,
                        c:\cavedog\totala\maps

2) Uncompress the zip using Winzip or another util, and when prompted for a
destination directory, extract all files to "c:\cavedog\totala\maps", or whatever path
you created in step one might have been.

3) Bingo done!

4) Now go play.
